When I was creating BORN FROM TWO I wanted the painting to represent how something so big can start from just two people. I wanted the piece to feel like everything keeps growing and branching off from one beginning. Every person adds something new and creates their own path but it all still connects back to where it started. To me BORN FROM TWO is really about family growth and how one beginning can turn into generations of different people and different stories. Everyone goes in their own direction and becomes their own person but there is still something that connects all of them together.
